Privacy & Data Processing Policy
Last updated: February 2025
1. Scope
This policy applies to mobile applications published on the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android), as well as any associated web version that may be offered, developed or published under the responsibility of the data controller indicated below.
2. Data controller
The data controller, where applicable, is Miguel Angel Guerra Ch. For any queries or to exercise your rights, you may contact: contact@miguelguerra.dev.
3. Data that may be collected
Currently, the applications covered by this policy do not collect personal data. No names, email addresses, device identifiers, or personally identifiable usage information are collected.
If personal data were to be collected in the future (for example, when adding sign-in, analytics, forms, or support features), it would be processed in accordance with this policy, disclosed in the application itself and/or in the store listings, and this text would be updated with details on the data, purpose, and legal basis.
In the event that collection were to take place, it could include, among others, identification data (name, email), app usage data, device technical data (model, operating system, language), or usage analytics. In such case, it would be described here explicitly before any processing.
4. Purpose and legal basis
In the current situation, as no data is collected, there is no processing for purposes other than the normal operation of the application on the user’s device.
If data were to be collected in the future, typical purposes would be: provision of the service, improvement of the application, user support, and, where applicable, compliance with legal obligations. Legal bases could include user consent, legitimate interest, or compliance with a legal obligation, depending on the type of data and purpose, and would be specified in this policy.
5. Retention and security
As no data is currently collected, no personal data is retained. If data were to be collected in the future, it would be retained only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes or as required by law, and appropriate technical and organizational measures would be applied to ensure its security (limited access, encryption where appropriate, etc.).
6. Sharing with third parties
No personal data is shared with third parties, as none is collected. If third-party services (for example, analytics or cloud infrastructure) that involve data processing were to be used in the future, they would be described in this policy and compliance with applicable regulations would be ensured (including data processing agreements where applicable).
7. Your rights
In accordance with applicable law (including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 – GDPR – and national rules such as LOPD-GDD in Spain, or data protection laws in Colombia and other countries), users whose data were processed would have the right to:
- Access their data
- Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erasure where applicable
- Restriction of processing in the cases provided by law
- Data portability
- Object to processing in the cases provided by law
To exercise these rights, you may contact the email address given in section 2. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection supervisory authority.
8. Children
The applications are not directed at minors. If in the future any application could be used by minors, no data from minors would be collected without parental or guardian consent where required by law.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in practice or in the law. The current version will always be available at this URL. We recommend reviewing it periodically. Continued use of the application after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
